68. Deputy Alan Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children      the details on Health Service Executive plans to set up its own law office while at the same time outsourcing its legal services needs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10538/10]

Minister for Health and Children (Deputy Mary Harney):  The HSE currently outsources all its legal services. The Executive is now setting up a small legal office but will continue to outsource appropriate aspects of its legal services. The HSE expects this change to result in significant annual savings.
